FELINE CONTROL COUNCIL (VICTORIA) INC.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Feline Control Council of Victoria Inc. was founded in 1962 to promote in every way the welfare of cats, the general improvement of the standard, breeding and exhibition of cats, plus good sportsmanship among its members
Its Main Features Are:

The largest feline registration council in Victoria with strong membership; and in Australia being second only to the New South Wales Cat Fanciers Association.

To keep and maintain a database to record details, pedigrees and microchip records of all cats and kittens registered with our Organisation.

Nine operating sub-committees to deal with breed standards, genetics, possible heritable defects and breeding protocols, finances, rules and by-laws, judges and stewards' training, Animal Welfare Victoria Applicable Organisation member compliance monitoring program .

Recognised standards for forty four breeds of pedigreed cats.

Five affiliated clubs and Breed Societies.

Run friendly and welcoming 2 ring & 3 ring cat shows.

Conducts information and education sessions to keep the members informed of their obligations under the Code of Conduct and any new rules and/or regulations which have come into force.

No kitten or cat can be registered without a microchip number over 12 weeks.
